Writing & Directing

After graduating from GSA, I entered the film and television industry as a dubbing mixer, working on daytime and factual programmes for BBC and Channel 4. I swiftly transitioned into camera operating and editing, working as an early contributor for BBC The Social and as a freelance video journalist at STV.

Whilst freelancing, I completed my MA in TV Fiction Writing at GCU and, soon after, I signed with my literary agent, MacFarlane Chard Associates. I continue to work professionally across a number of disciplines including video editing, sound mixing and camera operating. This wide-ranging experience has given me an extensive understanding of the creative possibilities and technical demands of writing and directing for the screen.
